Richard C. Ling

Dick Ling is a noted Oliver Wight alumni and author. Recognized as a leader in the development of Sales and Operations Planning, Mr. Ling also pioneered the development of MRP systems while working at IBM. He helped develop the first Master Scheduling software; this software was the first to incorporate available to promise (ATP) as a capability that has since become standard for all ERP Systems.  Dick was presented with an APICS lifetime achievement award in 2000 for his contributions to APICS and the area of Manufacturing Systems. He graduated from The University of Rochester.

Bill Harrison
President, Demand Management, Inc.

Bill Harrison has over 25 years of supply chain management experience.  Mr. Harrison spent over 17 years at True Value / Cotter & Company where he held a number of management positions and personally designed and implemented a market-leading Replenishment Optimization System.  He also served as Chief Operating Officer of Atrion/ClearCross, a global trading software corporation where he was instrumental in redefining the company’s product strategy, increasing sales, rationalizing costs and driving profitability.  He came to Demand Solutions in 2006 after holding leadership positions at Manugistics and American Software.  Harrison graduated from The University of Missouri.
