ST. LOUIS (May 10, 2018) – Demand Management Inc., a leading global resource for cloud-based supply chain management solutions, announced today that it has been named one of the Top 100 Logistics IT Providers by Inbound Logistics Magazine.

Every April, Inbound Logistics editors recognize 100 logistics IT companies that support and enable logistics excellence. Editors seek to match readers' fast-changing needs to the capabilities of those companies selected.  All companies selected reflect leadership by answering Inbound Logistics readers' needs for scalability, simplicity, fast ROI, and ease of implementation.

“When choosing the 2018 Top 100 Logistics IT Providers, Inbound Logistics editors looked at excellence in optimizing supply chain, logistics and transportation operations. Strategically, editors make their selections based on how transformative solutions impact those business activities driving integration across internal and external business processes. Demand Management was selected because its solutions solve specific logistics challenges and improve processes, and create a ripple effect of efficiencies across the entire value chain. “said Felecia Stratton, Editor, Inbound Logistics.

Demand Management President Bill Harrison Selected as a 2018 “Provider Pro to Know”

Demand Management President Bill Harrison Honored as a 2018 “Provider Pro to Know”

Executive Earns Honor for Tenth Consecutive Year

ST. LOUIS (March 8, 2018) – Demand Management Inc., a leading global resource for cloud-based supply chain management solutions, announced today that its president, Bill Harrison, has been named a Provider Pro to Know by Supply & Demand Chain Executive magazine for the tenth consecutive year.

The award winners were announced online in February at www.SDCExec.com.

Today’s business climate presents significant challenges for any company that runs a supply chain. The Pros to Know Awards recognize supply chain executives—from manufacturing and non-manufacturing enterprises alike—who are leading initiatives to help prepare their companies to meet these challenges. Harrison’s nomination was one of more than 300 that Supply & Demand Chain Executive received for the 2018 Pros to Know Award.

Harrison is listed among the 2018 Provider Pros to Know. These individuals work at software firms and service providers, in consultancies, or within academia to help supply chain clients or the supply chain community at large prepare to meet significant challenges. The 2018 listing also includes Practitioner Pros, who perform similar roles within their own companies.

“Being honored once again as a Pro to Know makes me grateful for the collaboration and support of Demand Solutions customers around the globe,” said Bill Harrison, president of Demand Management. “They are the truly remarkable people within today’s supply chain discipline. They’re striving to deliver greater value to their own customers by boosting service levels and squeezing unnecessary expenses out of their supply chain processes. All of us at Demand Solutions look forward to helping them achieve new levels of success.”

Ficosota Chooses Demand Solutions DSX for Cloud-Based Supply Chain Planning

Ficosota Chooses Demand Solutions DSX for Cloud-Based Supply Chain Planning

Global Corporation Aims to Increase Forecast Accuracy, Reduce Lost Sales

ST. LOUIS (March 1, 2018) – Demand Management Inc., a leading global resource for cloud-based supply chain management solutions, announced today that Ficosota, a provider of household and personal care products, has chosen Demand Solutions DSX SaaS as its new supply chain planning platform. The Demand Solutions cloud platform will support the company’s operations worldwide.

Headquartered in Sofia, Bulgaria, Ficosota has enjoyed rapid growth since its founding in 1994, thanks in part to several key acquisitions. But even as Ficosota grew, the company continued to manage its supply chain with an ERP system and a series of spreadsheets. The company struggled to produce accurate forecasts—and eventually recognized the need for a true supply chain planning platform

“Our top priority was to correct forecast errors across our 1,000 SKUs each month,” recalls Dessislav Draganov, Business Development Director, Ficosota. “Demand Solutions DSX not only provides the level of demand planning sophistication we needed, but also delivers end-to-end process coverage.”

With Demand Solutions DSX, Ficosota can now begin to streamline its list of 1,000 SKUs. Because the solution’s demand planning functionality feeds into requirements planning and provides automated leveling of production, the company also hopes to prevent stock-outs and major fluctuations in sales—good news to the 30 sales reps who will be able to access the platform in the cloud.

“We are delighted that Ficosota has chosen to take its global success to a new level on Demand Solutions DSX SaaS,” says Bill Harrison, president, Demand Management. “We believe that having cloud-based supply chain planning functionality will enable Ficosota to create highly accurate forecasts and enhance the profitability of its manufacturing operations.”
